In a continued effort to make accessibility at WOMAD as good as it can be we have changed our Adult 3 and 4 Day Disabled booking process. In order to make it simpler, we now ask you to send us an email with your special requirements, request for Essential Companion and Carer tickets and to book a spot in our Disabled Campsite, as well as your proof of disability.

Below, is a step-by-step guide. However, if you have any further questions send us an email or call us on 0845 1461735.

Step One:

Please book your festival ticket here. You will need to choose whether you are coming to WOMAD for three or four days and if you would like to camp in our General Campsite or our Disabled Campsite. Camping is included in the price of the ticket although you can choose to add extras such as a Spa ticket, La Di Da Loos pass, or bring a campervan. Once you have completed the purchase you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite which will include your order number.

If a festival ticket is all you require, then this is all you need to do. When you arrive at the festival, head to a wristband exchange point (shown on our map here) and have an amazing weekend!


Step Two:

If you would like to camp in our Disabled Campsite, have any special requirements and/or would like to book a free Carer or Essential Companion ticket please email with answers to the questions below.

  • Would you like to camp in our Disabled Campsite? How many people will be in your party? How many tents they will be in?
  • Would you like to book a free Carer or Essential Companion ticket? Please provide us with the name of this person.
  • Do you have special requirements that mean you need to access power at the festival?
    We cannot guarantee power to everyone and it is evaluated on a case by case basis – however, if we can facilitate your needs we will.
  • Would you like to park a campervan in the Disabled Campsite?
    You will need to buy a Live-in Vehicle Disabled Campsite ticket. Please click here.

Subject: Disabled camping and personal carer application – (please add your order number)


I have purchased a weekend ticket to WOMAD 2021, my order number is [insert order number]

Can I request a free Carer or Essential Companion ticket. The name of the person is [insert personal carer’s name].

I would like to use the camping area for people with disabilities. There will be [insert number of friends that will be camping with you] people in my party which will include [insert the number of tents] tents.

I have purchased a campervan pass, the order no. is [insert order number for campervan] and I would like to park it in the Disabled Campsite. The length of the vehicle is [insert the length of your campervan].

I have some special requirements, which are [insert information about your special requirement] and need electricity.

My proof of disability is attached to this email.

Step Three:

Please attach a copy of your proof of disability such as a blue badge or PIP to your email. You can send us a scanned copy or photo taken on a camera or phone. Please be aware that the file will have to be under 10mb.
