WOMAD prides itself on accessibility for all. Carers are admitted free to assist people with disabilities. More information on applying for disabled tickets and carers tickets will be available from November.
Large print information and braille timetables are available to use at the Customer Care Centre. The British Sign Language Interpreters sign at selected larger performances. They are available free of charge for bookings of workshops and stage signings on a first come first serve basis at the Customer Care Centre.
Disabled toilets and showers are available throughout the festival arena, in the disabled camping area, and at The British Red Cross Medical Centre.
The British Red Cross can store medicines that need to be refrigerated. Please check the festival map closer to the festival for The British Red Cross Medical Centre location.
There are viewing platforms located in front of the main stages for wheelchair users and people with disabilities. You will need a viewing platform wristband to access. Capacity on the platforms is limited so only one carer can accompany each time.
The viewing platform wristband is for wheelchair users and those who have difficulty standing for long periods. These wristbands are available from the stewards at the disabled camping area.
