We have a wide variety of bars at WOMAD from specialist cider and real ale bars to a watering hole under the trees, a traditional pub and cocktail bar. We also have late night bars for revelry into the small hours including Molly’s Bar near the campsite.
For all you cider lovers, this is the perfect drinking den for you to stop by. With a wide selection of fruit ciders, farmhouse ciders, draft ciders and more you’ll be in cider heaven! And what’s more there will be a guest cider named after WOMAD!
Cider of the festival – Look out for the Rhubarb Cider. Robin the WOMAD bar man is particularly excited by this one.
Also known as the Prairie Rose, this delightful wee bar is set inside a gleaming Airstream. Mixologists work hard to create the perfect cocktails and have plenty of fun in the meantime. Worth popping by just to see these folk at work!
Music bellows out from this busy bar, lit up by disco lights and an awesome vibe. This is definitely the place to be if you want a drink and a dance to some excellent beats.
Have you spotted the beautifully coloured Indian Tent? Make sure you head over and investigate. Inside you’ll find a relaxing environment. Light, coloured by the tents materials, streams in and creates a pleasant warming glow. seat yourself on an Indian chair and look out into the dappled green of the Arboretum. The perfect way to enjoy your pint.
Fast Serve at WOMAD
Positioned in the prime spot between Open Air Stage and Siam Tent, the Fast Serve or Arena Bar, is the perfect place to grab a very quick drink and dash back to the action. The super speedy service at this bar will mean you won’t miss a moment more than you need to. And for those who love an ice cold Pimms, the Fast Serve Bar will have a special service area just for those who want to quench their thirst with that delicious fruity zinger.
Real Ale Bar
Are you an ale aficionado or simply willing to give it a try? Well, you’re in good hands. Ale supremo Dominic has searched high and low to source the very best selection of ales brewed locally to WOMAD Charlton Park. Ale lovers, you’re in for a treat!
The Golden Lion
Named after the majestic festival icon, the Golden Lion stands proud at the main through way between the arena and the Arboretum. Grab a drink on your way through, or settle down with your drink and enjoy the Beer Garden or the cosy pub environment inside. This bar is serving everything – ales, ciders, wines and craft beer.
Yalumba Wine Bar
Fancy treating yourself to a fine wine? Then look no further. Sponsors of Taste The World, Yalumba have brought over an excellent selection of wines for you to taste and enjoy. It would be rude not to sample them all at least once, right? If you fancy trying before you buy, don’t miss the wine tasting sessions over at Taste The World. Here you’ll learn all about Yalumba, their wines and will be given a generous serving to try. Yalumba wine tasting sessions take place at Taste The World on Friday & Saturday – 1:15pm and Sunday – 5:15pm.
