Vesevo
Vesevo brings together three of the most accomplished and experienced musicians on the vibrant Naples folk scene

Taking their name from the ancient Neapolitan designation for Italy’s most famous volcano, Vesevo brings together three of the most accomplished and experienced musicians on the vibrant Naples folk scene – violinist Antonio Fraioli, best known for his work with Spaccanapoli, whose song “Vesuvio” was used in The Sopranos, the bluesy singer and guitarist Antonio Di Ponte and frame drum virtuoso Francesco Manna.

Their eponymously titled debut album was released in 2015 and found them guiding the exuberant traditional songs and dances of southern Italy, such as the tarantella, down exciting new highways and fascinating byways.
