Clap! Clap! Italy
Blending global dance and electronica with timeless sounds
Clap! Clap!, is the Italian producer/performer Cristiano Crisci, who began his career in the mid-1990s as a rapper and went on to play the saxophone and synthesisers in various bands before striking out in his current livery in 2013.
Blending global dance and electronica with timeless sounds drawn from nature, traditional music and field recordings, his debut album as Clap! Clap! so impressed Paul Simon that he asked Crisci to produce three tracks on his 2016 album Stranger To Stranger.
A Thousand Skies, his second album as Clap! Clap! mixes samples and live instrumentation and was released earlier this year.
