A founder member of Jazz-pop ensemble Snarky Puppy, his new album is a genre-bending exploration of dance, African percussion and deep world grooves.

A founder member of the acclaimed jazz-pop ensemble Snarky Puppy and two-time Grammy winner, the British pianist and composer Bill Laurance has released four albums to date as a band leader and travelled the globe on a myriad of musical projects, performing with Salif Keita, Bobby McFerrin, Susana Baca, Morcheeba and David Crosby among others.

His latest studio album Aftersun is “a tribute to space exploration and life in the cosmos” and a genre-bending exploration of dance music, African percussion and deep world grooves.

His recent CD/DVD Live at the Union Chapel recorded in front of a sold-out crowd offers a thrilling taste of what WOMAD-goers can expect.
